3 rooms empty and counting

I have now emptied my living room and 2 bedrooms, through either Letgo, Craigslist, or Goodwill.  Plus some great friends who took some of my stuff even though they didn’t have to. I’ve probably had 2 or 3 camping trips since last blog but since I can’t find publishing dates on here, I’m just guessing.  I’ll have to problem solve that eventually. I would like the blog to be sorted by publish date on the main menu.

5 more months of work.  It’s going fast.  I’m currently at Thousand Trails Russian River Resort for 4 days after Christmas.  We were here at the exact same time last year.  Beautiful weather and we’re all a year older but it’s a relaxing, peaceful time.


What has changed since last time?  We have an electric 3 wheel bike for fun, although it doesn’t do the hills here well so Poppy has had to run along instead of riding inside.  I have learned how to get the bike up on the carrier by myself and keep it secure but it’s been a trial and error process.  I took off the side bars on 2 sides and I ordered a $60 foam cube 🤪 for the front wheel.  All works fine now but at Veterans weekend, we rolled in to the camping spot with the front wheel of the bike (where the motor is) hanging by only a bungee cord.  Oops.  😲

Kenya is on her 3rd motorhome cage but I think we got it right this time.  I have to sell the other 2 cages but one won’t be till we are retired and ready to leave.

The other new thing — I know I said no more animals...but I got hooked on tarantulas in September.  I now have 5 of the little buggers.  They are very low maintenance so hopefully it won’t impact us much.  Just one more large tub in the MH.  😉
